Fluffy gets a new outfit - an adorable hand-crocheted birthday gift for Jasmine from our friend Lynette.
We took our faux tree from last year out of storage and much to our dismay it was musty smelling, so we made our own makeshift "tree" out of coat hangers.
Experimenting with homemade vegan yogurt. Soy and walnut thickens wonderfully, but coconut milk will not. I don't have a yogurt maker so I make the yogurt in the oven.
Annual gingerbread house making at the library.
Dressed up incognito for a Writing Camp we do every month for a week.
Our garden in the summer and fall with all the healthful weeds too! We grew kale, collards, lettuce, lemon mint, basil, peppers, strawberries and parsley, dandelions, plantain, dock, and purslane.

We made these rose windows from a book Bronwen let us borrow. Once they're done you put them up to the window, the light shines in to make a pretty sight. Jasmine and I shared this craft with all the people who came over.
Jasmine was busy! These are all the hand knit scarves she made for her party guests at her kid's park party!
haha, I adore this photo because it speaks of Jasmine's humor so well.
The sweet cupcakes for Jasmine's park party w/ her friends.
Jasmine and Cora spent literally all of the daylight hours today perfecting their Manga drawings with help from Youtube tutorials. Jasmine dowloaded them to her e-reader and they watched them as they drew along. This has been a huge inspiration for them! Jasmine took an art class (realistic art) in Sullivan recently but she hasn't learned even a fraction at that class as she has learned in her own time at home from free Youtube tutorials!
Some of Jasmine's wonderful Manga drawings. Each drawing is so unique and detailed. She started out as a Manga novice, and learned so much from Youtube.

I finished knitting the kiwi for Jasmine! It's very muppet-esque with the big, bulgy eyes!
